From Blank Chat Window to Full Marketing Department in 15 Minutes Flat
"This thing is freakin awesome!" (Craig) • "It's been incredible" (Travis Ventrella) • "I use CMO HQ everyday" (Orvelin Valle)
There's a new way of using AI quietly spreading through the operator world.
It's cheaper than the software stack you're paying for now. It works with whatever AI you already use... ChatGPT, Claude, Hermes, OpenClaw, Manus, doesn't matter. And it outperforms the systems Silicon Valley's coders build with their frameworks and their funding rounds.
No code, nothing to rent, and nothing that breaks when some vendor "sunsets" a feature you depended on.
And the man who discovered it isn't a coder at all.

He's an 8-year Marine Corps veteran named Jake Van Clief who spent his service working on the avionics and cryptographic systems of F-35 and F-18 fighter jets. Machines with millions of parts that are not allowed to fail at 40,000 feet.
Those jets taught him something most AI builders never learn: the most complex machines on Earth don't run on genius. They run on LAYERS. Simple, inspectable layers, where every part knows exactly what it needs to know and nothing more.
So when Jake came home and watched the AI crowd duct-taping together agent frameworks, custom GPTs, and automation platforms, he spotted the mistake instantly. Everybody was automating the wrong layer. (His words, not mine.)
The system he built instead is so simple it sounds like a joke the first time you hear it.
I'm not going to spoil it just yet. But I'll tell you this much:
- It requires ZERO code. If you can make a folder on your computer, you're qualified.
- It costs nothing to run beyond the AI subscription you already pay for.
- It's just files and folders. Which means it's portable. Switch AI tools next year and your whole system comes with you.
- Jake published actual research on it (it's on arXiv), and 43,000+ people are in his community using the method.
- The research points at something embarrassing for the framework crowd: an AI reading a few small, focused files consistently beats an AI drowning in one giant 30,000-token mega-prompt. The big fancy setups literally make the AI dumber. Simpler input, BETTER output.
A system built this way installs in about 4 minutes. One simple one-page doc you hand to your AI. It reads the doc, interviews you, and builds the whole thing while you sip your coffee.
Marines don't build fragile things. Neither do I.
I used Jake's method to codify my 20 years of experience making millions online, into a marketers copilot I use everyday.
Same simple system of files and folders, but injected with the mind of an elite marketer.
For example, I built into my version a whole financial system that tracks all your costs and earnings so you know exactly what's profitable and what's not.
If you ever wanted to know your cost per lead and your earnings per lead, this system does that.
If you ever wanted to know your lifetime customer value and your average order value, this system does that.
If you want to know who your 10 highest paying customers are and your 10 lowest paying customers, so you can write copy that gets more higher paying customers and less lower paying ones... this system does that.
What Jake discovered was cool, but it was generic. I made it into a marketers right-hand man, that you'll use everyday.
Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Justin Brooke. I've been in digital advertising for over 20 years, since 2005, before Facebook even had ads.
I founded AdSkills.com, one of the most respected media buying training platforms on the internet. I've managed over $10 million in ad spend, trained more than 14,000 business owners, spoke everywhere from Las Vegas to Australia, sat for 30+ podcast interviews, and self-published a book that made millions without ever sitting on a bookstore shelf.
These days I run three companies with a two-person team: me and my wife.
I don't tell you any of that to impress you. I tell you so you understand that when I say something is about to change how marketing gets done, I've earned the right to make that claim.
And nothing since the search engine has changed how I work like what you're about to see.
What I bolted on under the hood
The avatar interviews I've used to position winning offers. The product files loaded with benefits, objections, and proof. The funnel maps, the paid/earned/owned department structure I've taught to 14,000 students, and the review pipeline that keeps quality high. Plus that financial system: cost per lead, true CAC, LTV, max profitable CPA, spend ceilings.
All of it, written into folders and plain markdown files that any AI can read and follow.
The result is a complete marketer's co-pilot that installs off one page, runs on any AI, and knows YOUR business like an employee who's been with you for years.
I call it CMO HQ.
Plain Markdown Files Become Your Marketer's Co-Pilot
- •Cross-brand strategy
- •Owner rules & voice
- •Decision log
- •Intelligence brain
- •3 departments
- •Metrics & pipeline
- •Revenue & expenses
- •Unit economics
- •Spend ceiling
- •Optimization playbooks
- •Dept blueprints
- •Reusable skills
The entire CMO HQ system, layer by layer. This is what your AI builds for you.
Your new right-hand man (no matter which AI you use)
Here's what it does for you, in plain terms:
It remembers. Type #startsession and about 60 seconds later your AI is fully briefed: who you are, what you sell, what happened last session, what's next. Type #endsession when you're done and it saves everything. Tomorrow picks up mid-stride. The days of re-explaining your business to a goldfish are OVER.
It runs like a department. Three departments per brand (paid, earned, owned), each with its own context, templates, and decision log. Work flows through a sacred pipeline: Active, Review, Approved, Assets. Your AI drafts, calculates, and recommends. It never publishes a word you haven't approved. You keep the button.
It knows your REAL numbers. A forensic finance engine reads your cart, email, ad, and accounting exports, then tells you your true cost per lead, CAC, LTV, payback period, max profitable CPA, and total spend ceiling per product. Most "AI marketing systems" stop at ROAS. ROAS lies. This doesn't.
It works everywhere you do. Build it in iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox and the same brain follows you from the office desktop to the laptop at Starbucks to your phone in the school pickup line. One memory, every device.
It compounds. Before writing anything, your AI must read your avatar, product, and funnel files. So every customer quote you capture and every test result you log makes next week's output sharper than this week's. Your effort finally STACKS instead of evaporating when the chat thread ends.
That's the difference between using AI and OWNING an AI system. One is a talented stranger. The other is a right-hand man.
Don't take my word for it
These are real, unprompted messages from my community. Nobody was asked for a testimonial.
I'll have a longer report later. But here's a quick example:
I was struggling to come up with a bump offer and upsell. So I asked CMO-HQ (I need to give him a name). It searched all the existing videos and audios and came up with 2 killer ideas.
Craig got stuck on a bump offer and an upsell, so he asked CMO HQ. It dug through the client's existing videos and audios sitting in the intelligence layer and pitched two ideas. The take rates on those two ideas, from his own tracking: the bump converted 35 of 56 orders (62.5%) and the upsell converted 40 of 56 (71.4%).
Those are Craig's results with Craig's offers in Craig's niche, and I can't promise you his numbers. But his AI wasn't guessing. It had his real business data to work from. That's magic of CMO HQ, your marketing co-pilot that works with any AI.
And, I like the "CMO HQ" name. The name is staying over here.
Even podcast host Corey Ganim, who's seen every "marketing OS" clone out there, said on air: "This is probably the simplest one I've seen." His take after I demoed the whole thing? "Kind of sells itself."
What a week with CMO HQ looks like
Monday morning, news breaks in one of my niches. I tell my HQ: "People are going to be searching for this. Let's cover it."
I'm just vibing, honestly. Talking, dropping in screenshots and half-formed ideas. My AI reads that brand's avatar and funnel files, writes the article in my voice, and hands me image prompts to go with it. The draft lands in Active.
Tuesday, I open Review, tweak two paragraphs, and approve it. The system pushes the finished post straight to my CMS through a connection it already has and files the assets away. (I paste in one little embed that gives readers an audio version. Takes me about a minute.)
Wednesday it's ad copy for a different brand. Same building, different department, zero context bleed.
And at the end of the month, I drop in my P&L export and the finance engine tells me what all that activity actually EARNED. Clicks to leads to sales to profit, connected in one plain-English report, with a forecast for the next 12 months.
One operator, multiple brands, and the work moves every day whether I'm in power mode at my desk or on a laptop at Starbucks.
Everything CMO HQ comes with (and does for you)
- ✓The one-page installer doc that builds your entire marketing headquarters in about 4 minutes. Hand it to your AI, answer a short interview about your business, watch it work.
- ✓A memory system that ends AI amnesia for good: #startsession loads your whole business in about 60 seconds, #endsession saves the day, and tomorrow picks up exactly where you left off.
- ✓Three full marketing departments (paid, earned, owned) that run like a real team, even if the whole "team" is you and a coffee mug.
- ✓The sacred pipeline (Active, Review, Approved, Assets) so nothing EVER goes live without your approval.
- ✓Avatar files built from your customers' actual words, so your ads sound like your buyers talk instead of like a robot with an MBA.
- ✓Product files loaded with your benefits, objections, and proof, so every piece of copy starts the fight armed.
- ✓Funnel maps of your full customer journey, so your AI knows where every ad and email fits before it writes a word.
- ✓The intelligence-first rule: your AI must read your avatar, product, and funnel files before writing anything. Generic output dies here.
- ✓Feedback loop files (customer-voice.md, ad-learnings.md) that make every session smarter than the last one.
- ✓The forensic finance engine: four AI roles (revenue, expenses, economics, reporting) that read your exports and hand you the truth about your business.
- ✓Your true cost per lead, CAC, and LTV calculated per product, not blended averages that hide the losers.
- ✓Your max profitable CPA and spend ceiling, so you know exactly when scaling is smart and when it's just expensive.
- ✓A plain-English monthly report, a dashboard, and a 12-month forecast across three scenarios, rebuilt every month.
- ✓LTV-to-CAC ratios and payback periods that tell you which product deserves your next ad dollar.
- ✓Decision logs in every department, so 90 days from now you own institutional memory no competitor can copy and no employee can walk off with.
- ✓status.md and CHANGELOG.md, the two little files that end "wait, what were we doing?" forever.
- ✓Multi-brand architecture: run 2, 3, or 10 brands in one HQ with zero context bleed. Agencies, this is your client portfolio system.
- ✓7 specialist agent roles on call: marketing director, media buyer, SEO strategist, content writer, email list manager, CRO specialist, social media manager.
- ✓A budget guardian that watches your spend against the ceiling your finance engine calculated.
- ✓Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Hermes, OpenClaw, Manus... any AI that can read files. Switch tools whenever you want. Your HQ comes with you.
- ✓Lives in iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox, so your desktop, laptop, and phone all share one brain.
- ✓The operations manual: startup routines, department workflows, the monthly finance run, and quarterly maintenance. The owner's manual most builders never bother to write.
- ✓Shared playbooks and skills any brand can borrow. (If you own any of my skills, they have a home waiting for them.)
- ✓Zip file delivery: buy it, unzip it, hand one file to your AI. No onboarding calls, no 6-week course, no Loom videos.
- ✓No subscription, no lock-in, no platform risk. Plain markdown files you OWN, forever.
- ✓BONUS: Printable architecture poster, so the whole 'at-a-glance' system hangs on the wall next to your desk.
What it costs (and why that number is silly)
Let's talk price like adults.
My Build Club members pay $1,495 a year for access to my agent library, and CMO HQ is the flagship system inside it. The finance engine alone would run you $500+ as a consulting deliverable if you hired someone to build it. And the "AI marketing platform" SaaS crowd charges you every single month, forever, to rent a system that doesn't know your business and holds your data hostage.
CMO HQ is $249. One time. That's it.
No subscription, no seat licenses, no "pro tier" upsell six months from now. You buy it once, you own the files forever, and every AI you ever use can run them.
You'll pay $99 a month for tools that forget you exist between logins. This is $249 ONCE for a system that never forgets anything.
My 30-day guarantee, in plain terms: Install it. Run your first sessions. If it doesn't feel like having a marketing co-pilot who already knows your business, email us within 30 days and we'll refund all $249. Keep the poster.
Secure checkout is being set up and will appear right here. Check back shortly.
Questions I'd ask before buying too
Will this really work with MY AI?
Yes. It's folders and markdown files on your computer, so any AI that reads files can run it: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Hermes, OpenClaw, Manus. I use Claude, and a couple of conventions (like the CLAUDE.md boot file and #startsession commands) come from Claude land, but the installer adapts to whatever tool you hand it.
I'm not technical. Can I actually run this?
If you can make a folder on your computer, you're qualified. There's no code, no command line, and no setup wizard from 2009. Colin installed it holding a crying baby. One-handed.
Is this just a pack of templates?
No. Templates are empty forms you fill out. CMO HQ has logic: routing rules, the intelligence-first law, pipeline stages, startup and shutdown sequences, and a four-role finance engine. And the installer populates every file with YOUR data from a live interview. It's closer to a consultant building you a department than a stack of templates.
I only do email. Or only content. Or only ads.
Fine. Each department activates on its own. The other two sit there costing you nothing until you're ready. The structure waits for you.
Do I need MCPs, APIs, or terminal stuff?
No. CMO HQ uses those connections where they help (pulling ad and email data automatically), but the entire system runs on simple CSV exports if you want. No code anywhere.
Isn't Jake's method free?
A lot of it, yes, and it's excellent. Jake teaches the general methodology and he's earned every one of those 43,000 members. CMO HQ is the marketing-specific build he doesn't teach: pre-built paid, earned, and owned departments, the intelligence-first rule, the forensic finance engine, and a one-page installer. You could study his method and build all this yourself over a few weekends. Or you could be running it before lunch.
What exactly shows up after I click?
A zip file, about 30 seconds later. Inside: installer.md (the one-page doc that interviews you and builds your complete HQ), the operations manual, and the bonus architecture poster. Unzip, hand the installer to your AI, and you're working inside your own HQ today.
Here's your Tuesday, two weeks from now
You sit down with your coffee and type #startsession.
Sixty seconds later your AI says, in effect: here's where we left off, here's what's sitting in Review waiting on you, here's what last month's numbers say about where to push. You say "let's work in the paid department," and it opens the right folder, reads your avatar and your ad learnings, and gets to work like it never left.
No re-introducing yourself, no amnesia tax. Just a marketer's co-pilot that was briefed before you woke up.
I built this because I promised my family a long time ago that the business would fit around the dinner table, not the other way around. The only way that math works is a system that remembers, so I don't have to re-teach.
A Marine figured out the architecture. A 20-year ad man filled it with everything he knows. And today it costs less than one month of the SaaS stack it replaces.
Your move.
✌️❤️
Justin
P.S. For my fellow scrollers (I do it too): CMO HQ is my complete AI marketer's co-pilot. Folders and markdown files, built on the method a Marine vet proved out and loaded with my 20 years of direct response. One page installs it in about 4 minutes on any AI that reads files. It includes the forensic finance engine that tells you your true CAC, LTV, max profitable CPA, and spend ceiling. $249, one time, no subscription, yours forever.
P.P.S. Craig, one week in: "AT this point I can't imagine working without it." You get 30 full days to feel that for yourself or your $249 comes back. Keep the poster either way.
P.P.P.S. Colin set his up holding a crying baby. You're out of excuses.
